I first heard about VS on a Displeased sampler. It was the rough version of the From A Blackened Star. I always like the demo version over the studio version so it is really cool that the demo can now be listened to in its entirety.

Fantastic album, which over the years has become IMPOSSIBLE to find (the 2006 version) - even to pirate it! It's great to have this, but I have one complaint: the 2006 version of Invisible Kingdom had one of my favorite guitar solos ever, and it's just not anywhere near as good or compelling on this version. A real shame. Still quite glad to have this. Please release Psychotic Sculpture and Beyond the Cursed Eclipse on BC!

This is my favorite metal album of all time. The only bad thing is that the vocals are somewhat buried in the mix. Otherwise, the record perfectly blends a mix of metal genres with excellent songcraft. A record you'll listen to again and again.
